Island Health E14 3BQ (Salaried GP required 4-8 sessions/week + Mat cover position available 8 months)
We are looking to recruit an ambitious GP to join our friendly and dynamic team. Island Health is a popular teaching practice in E14 with 15,200 patients, which is open 08.00-18.30. We have a strong team ethos and all team members are encouraged to develop portfolio roles. We have regular clinical meetings (protected time for this) and value the wellbeing of our staff. We provide excellent mentorship and support structure, both newly qualified and experienced GPs are welcome to apply -you will be looked after.
Island Health has recently become a limited company, and works closely with the GP Care group. We have recently employed a new practice manager who alongside the partnership team, champion innovation. We are active in reviewing and improving our service, so it meets the needs of both patients AND STAFF.
We have a large multi-disciplinary team including, 9 GPs, nurses, HCAs, a First Contact Physiotherapist, clinical pharmacists, care coordinators, and paramedics. We have a designated home health team who support our elderly and housebound patients, as well as a large wellness team that work alongside the clinicians.
We use Emis and accurix as our econsult tool, we have a daily cap of econsults, routine clinics are also limited to 15 patients (approx.) in a session.

Job Type: Part Time Salaried GP
Harley Grove Medical Centre (Salaried GP 2-4 sessions)
We are a friendly practice with over 7,500 patients. Situated in Bow, East London only a few minutes from Bow Road and Mile End Tube stations. Harley Grove is part of several practices within the Bow Health Network. Harley Grove is a teaching practice, hosting medical students throughout the year. We have students from Queen Mary University and King’s College London, in addition to that the practice hosts ST1 – ST3 trainees as part of their GP rotation.
Looking for a 2-4 sessions per week.
Harley Grove also provides extended hours Hub service to patients offering additional General Practice appointments. There is scope for additional sessions in the hub service.
Bethnal Green Health Centre – Salaried GP or Teaching fellow (part of the GP fellowship scheme)
We are looking for a salaried GP at Bethnal Green Health Centre. The practice is located in E2 and close to Bethnal Green Station on the central line and shoreditch station on the overground
We have organised our workflow and appointments to enable a better balance. Its currently 16 patients with admin. The admin is limited to the time allocated. In addition, we have removed on-call commitments. Although you can join the rota if interested.

We are a smallish (6,000 list) friendly practice aiming to provide good quality service to our patients and job satisfaction to our staff.
We looking for 3-4 sessions. £ 9,856 per session
For what it is worth, we score highly on patient satisfaction. In the most recent GP Patient Survey, we scored 2nd in Tower Hamlets (11th in northeast London) on overall satisfaction.
We use EMIS, and the askmyGP platform to manage patient-led flow. We aim for GPs to get home on time. That is why we are seeking another salaried GP to share the work. For those interested, partnership is a possible option.

Whitechapel and East One Health are 2 well established practices which will be merging in July and moving to brand new purpose built premises in Goodman’s Field, Aldgate. The combined list of the 2 practices will have 24,000 patients.
The team has a strong multidisciplinary ethos with GPs working closely with PAs, Advance Clinical Pharmacists, ANPs, practices nurses and HCAs. We are also due to welcome a dedicated practice based physio and care-coordinator to the team. This structure enables a much better work life balance and a structured approach to patient care. Whitechapel Health Centre has some of the best clinical outcomes in the borough and East One Health managed the Covid vaccine hub in Cable street.
We can also support GPs who wish to engage in the local fellowship on offer across Tower Hamlets and provide mentoring and support.
