The last 20 months has been testing times for all. We have all experienced significant pressures at work and at home compounded by social and economic stressors and uncertainties – that will likely present a population health burden for months and years to come. This session will introduce psychoeducation around empathy and mentalisation, and the neuroscience of safety, alongside practical skills for raising the levels of empathy and compassion even when you only have quite a short space of time to spend with someone.

We will hear from people with lived experience of structural discrimination and difficulties accessing health and social welfare and facilitate a mix of information presenting and interactivity. Come and join us at this in this space to learn, share and explore empathy and compassion. Bookings can only be made via the link above. Register early as spaces are limited. Anybody working or studying in Tower Hamlets can access this event. Session will be delivered on Zoom platform
