Eczema

  • To gain an understanding of what Eczema is.

  • To know how to support a CYP with Eczema day to day in school.

  • To be familiar with the eczema care plans used in Tower Hamlets.

  • How to safely store medication.

 

Epilepsy

  • To gain an understanding of what epilepsy is.

  • To gain an understanding of the diff erent seizure types and their presentation.

  • To know how to support a CYP with epilepsy in the day to day and how support a CYP in an emergency situation.

  • To be familiar with the epilepsy care plans used in Tower Hamlets.

  • How to safely store medication.

 

Allergies

  •  To recognise the signs and symptoms of an allergic and anaphylactic reaction.

  • To know how to support a CYP with allergies day to day and how to support a CYP in an emergency situation.

  •  To know how and when to give emergency medication (including the administration of auto-inject adrenaline pens i.e. Emerade pens and Epi-pens).

  •  To be familiar with the allergy anaphylaxis care plans used in Tower Hamlets.

  •  How to safely store medication.

Asthma

  • To gain an understanding of what asthma is.

  • To recognise the signs and symptoms of an asthma attack.

  • To know how to support a CYP with asthma day to day and how support a CYP in an emergency situation.

  • To be familiar with the asthma action plans used in Tower Hamlets.
