safeTALK Suicide Prevention trainers course

‘safeTALK’ trainers programme: Are you passionate about mental health and wellbeing, and in particular suicide prevention? Are you an experienced facilitator or trainer? Why not apply to become a ‘safeTALK’ trainer 

Tower Hamlets Community Education Provider Network (CEPN) in partnership with Public Health Tower Hamlets are keen to support the development of a cohort of local ‘safeTALK’ course trainers who then would go on to deliver training to others. To become an approved trainer, you will need to attend the 2 day trainers’ course (dates below). Programme will be fully funded by the CEPN. Once trained, you will act as a provisional trainer and be required to deliver 6 safeTALK courses in the first 12 months. These will need to be delivered from December 2017 December 2018. Once qualified, the trainers will be expected to deliver further training to local workforce members.

What are the course dates?

Wednesday 15th November 2017 & Thursday 16th November 2017

Both the training days will be full days and held at the Education Centre, Mile End Hospital
