Congratulations to 8 HCAs completing the HCA Advanced Clinical Programme

After 6 weeks of training, 8 Tower Hamlets Health Care Assistants completed the HCA Advanced Clinical programme on the 13th December 2016. A celebratory award ceremony took place at the Osmani Centre to congratulate the group on the completion of the programme. Chris Banks, CEO of the Tower Hamlets GP Care Group, presented the participants with certificates and prizes for all their hard work. Diane Gould and Anne Morton, were praised for their hard work and dedication to ensure the programme was both stimulating and fun. Participants were very grateful for the opportunity to take part in this programme. Participants expressed that the course had enabled them to build confidence. Amongst the positive feedback, one participant said 'I have been given more responsibilities in my practice'. All have extended their skills, another participant said ''My Practice Manager asks me every week 'what have you learnt new?'''. The ceremony was concluded with a special surprise award In recognition of 25 years of continuous service in Tower Hamlets Primary Care, Vicky Souster, Education and Development Manager for Open Doors presented Debbie Veneables with the award. Below are a few pictures taken from the day:
