Ear Care

The half day study day provides a comprehensive overview of the national ear care guidelines for an NMC registrant and how they apply these guidelines to the clinical setting. The emphasis for the half day is how a registrant undertakes a robust assessment when a patient is referred to for ear irrigation. There will be a practical demonstration on how to use the Propulse 111 irrigator and time for the course leader to provide formative feedback for students. To gain the maximum benefit for this half day, registrants must have a good knowledge of the underlying anatomy and physiology of the ear.
